Advisory Board المجلس الاستشاري

Advisory Board is a three-member council comprising a representative of Mushawara members of the Samastha Kerala Jam’iyathul Ulama (the supreme council of Ulamas in Kerala) and an eminent educationist who are nominated by the General body of the CIC. The board is mandated to ensure that the CIC functions according to its constitution; and, if required, to convene the general body to take appropriate measures.

المجلس الاستشاري هو مجلس من ثلاثة أعضاء يضم ممثلاً عن أعضاء المشورة في جماعة Kerala Jam’iyathul Ulama (المجلس الأعلى للعلماء في كيرالا)، وأحد كبار التربويين يرشّحهما المجلس العام للتنسيق. ويُكلف المجلس بالتأكد من أن التنسيق يعمل وفق دستوره؛ وعند الحاجة، بعقد المجلس العام لاتخاذ الإجراءات المناسبة.

General Secretary الأمين العام

Professor Abdul Hakeem Faizy is an Islamic scholar, educationist, and a strong advocate of religious harmony, pluralism, and interfaith dialogue.

He is the chief architect of Wafy and Wafiyya courses, which he designed by modifying traditional Islamic curricula and combining them with modern disciplines. He is an exponent of the role of education in empowering marginalized communities and women.

Currently, he is the General Secretary of the Coordination of Islamic Colleges.

He is also the executive board member of Cairo-based The League of Islamic Universities (LIU), which currently has over 200 Islamic universities from all over the world as members. He is the first Indian to be nominated to the 21-member apex body of the association. The CIC has been a member of LIU since 2014 and Faizy was appointed to the board in 2018.

Faizy is also a representative from India at the Abu Dhabi-headquartered World Muslim Communities Council.

In recognition of his educational activities, islamonline.net honoured him with the IOL Star of the Year award in 2009 while onislam.net felicitated him for his exemplary educational services in 2011. In addition, he was felicitated by several local bodies and organizations.

البروفيسور Abdul Hakeem Faizy عالم إسلامي وتربوي وداعٍ قوي للوئام الديني والتعددية والحوار بين الأديان.

وهو المهندس الرئيس لدورتي الوافي والوفيّة، اللتين صمّمهما بتطوير المناهج الإسلامية التقليدية ودمجها مع التخصصات الحديثة. وهو من الداعين إلى دور التعليم في تمكين المجتمعات المهمّشة والنساء.

وهو حالياً الأمين العام لتنسيق الكليات الإسلامية.

كما أنه عضو في المكتب التنفيذي لرابطة الجامعات الإسلامية (LIU) المقرّرة في القاهرة، التي تضم حالياً أكثر من 200 جامعة إسلامية من جميع أنحاء العالم. وهو أول هندي يرشّح إلى الهيئة العليا المؤلفة من 21 عضواً. وينتسب التنسيق إلى LIU منذ 2014 وعُيّن Faizy في المجلس عام 2018.

كما أن Faizy ممثل عن الهند في مجلس المجتمعات المسلمة في العالم المقرّ في أبوظبي.

وقد كرّمه islamonline.net بجائزة IOL Star of the Year عام 2009 تقديراً لأنشطته التعليمية، كما كرّمه onislam.net عام 2011 على خدماته التعليمية المتميزة. وقد كُرّم أيضاً من قبل عدة هيئات ومؤسسات محلية.

Senate مجلس الشيوخ

The Senate (general body) consists of academic representatives and management representatives each from all institutions owned by or affiliated to the CIC.

This body convenes its meeting once in a year to look into the operations of the CIC, review its performance, discuss the new measures and initiatives and strategize the future plans.

يتكوّن مجلس الشيوخ (الهيئة العامة) من ممثلين أكاديميين وممثلين إدارياً من كل مؤسسة مملوكة للتنسيق أو منتسبة إليه.

يعقد هذا المجلس اجتماعاً مرة في السنة لمراجعة عمل التنسيق وتقييم أدائه ومناقشة التدابير والمبادرات الجديدة ووضع الخطط المستقبلية.

Syndicate السنديكات

Syndicate is the working committee of the CIC. This executive body consists of an academic representative and a management representative from all the CRCs and institutions owned by the CIC.

السنديكات هو اللجنة التنفيذية للتنسيق. ويتكوّن هذا الجسم التنفيذي من ممثل أكademic وممثل إداري من كل لجنة إقليمية للتنسيق (CRC) ومن كل مؤسسة مملوكة للتنسيق.

Academic Council المجلس الأكاديمي

The Academic Council consists of a director, an assistant director, a member secretary and four members elected from the general body, in addition to four eminent educationists nominated from outside the general body. The council is mandated to determine and verify the details, conditions, criteria, and infrastructure of the affiliation of the educational institutions; design the curriculum and courses; evaluate and review the academic quality of the affiliated institutions; take practical and timely measures for improving the quality of the courses; upgrade the syllabus from time to time and prepare the textbooks as and when required.

يتكوّن المجلس الأكاديمي من مدير ومدير مساعد وأمين سر وأربعة أعضاء ينتخبهم المجلس العام، إضافة إلى أربعة تربويين بارزين يرشّحهم من خارج المجلس العام. ويُكلف المجلس بتحديد وتحقق تفاصيل وشروط ومعايير وبنية تحتية انتساب المؤسسات التعليمية؛ ووضع المناهج والدورات؛ وتقييم ومراجعة الجودة الأكاديمية للمؤسسات المنتسبة؛ واتخاذ تدابير عملية وفي الوقت المناسب لتحسين جودة الدورات؛ وتحديث المناهج من وقت لآخر وإعداد الكتب الدراسية عند الحاجة.

Examination Board consists of eleven members including a controller, an assistant controller, and a member secretary. Eight of the eleven members are allowed to be from outside the general body.

Publishing Bureau مكتب النشر

Publishing Bureau is a seven-member body including a director and an assistant director. The bureau is tasked with making all the prescribed textbooks as well as references available for the students either by publishing them or getting them from other sources. The bureau is also making available other generic books and study materials useful to the students.

مكتب النشر هيئة من سبعة أعضاء تشمل مديراً ومديراً مساعداً. ويُكلف المكتب بتوفير جميع الكتب الدراسية المقررة ومراجع الدراسة للطلاب إما بنشرها أو الحصول عليها من مصادر أخرى. كما يوفّر كتباً عامة ومواد دراسية مفيدة للطلاب.

Finance Committee اللجنة المالية

The Finance Committee is comprised of eleven general body members, including a director, assistant director and a member secretary, selected from the general body and five nominated members from outside the general body. The committee is tasked with the financial management of the construction and operations of all the institutions owned by the CIC, including raising the funds, pooling, and allocating the resources and taking decision on spending and investment. The body can also financially support the CIC's affiliated institutions and other educational and cultural activities, subject to the CIC's approval.

تتكوّن اللجنة المالية من أحد عشر عضواً من المجلس العام، من بينهم مدير ومدير مساعد وأمين سر، يُختارون من المجلس العام وخمسة أعضاء مرشّحين من خارجه. وتُكلف اللجنة بالإدارة المالية لبناء وتشغيل جميع المؤسسات المملوكة للتنسيق، بما في ذلك جمع الأموال وتجميعها وتوزيع الموارد واتخاذ قرارات الإنفاق والاستثمار. ويمكن للهيئة أيضاً دعم المؤسسات المنتسبة والأنشطة التعليمية والثقافية الأخرى بموافقة التنسيق.

Centre for Open & Distance Education (CODE) مركز التعليم المفتوح والتعليم عن بعد

CODE functions to expand the possibilities and opportunities of the Wafy Wafiyya system and it provide various educational and training courses for the public irrespective of age or gender. It is planning to introduce the Wafy Islamic Life Diploma focusing specifically on the areas of life skills, home science, family management and spirituality.

يعمل مركز التعليم المفتوح والتعليم عن بعد (CODE) على توسيع إمكانات وفرص نظام الوافي والوفيّة، ويقدّم دورات تعليمية وتدريبية متنوعة للجمهور بغض النظر عن العمر أو الجنس. ويخطط لإطلاق دبلوم الحياة الإسلامية للوافي يركّز تحديداً على مهارات الحياة وعلوم المنزل وإدارة الأسرة والجانب الروحي.

Arham Assembly تجمع Arham

Arham Assembly is an extended body which potentially comprises the entire students, teachers and other staff members, administrators, management representatives and alumni from all the affiliated colleges and their family members and all well-wishers of the CIC. The assembly currently has about 50,000 members and still growing.

تجمع Arham Assembly هو هيئة موسّعة تضم في جوهرها الطلاب والمعلمين وغيرهم من الموظفين والإداريين وممثلي الإدارة وخريجي جميع الكليات المنتسبة وأفراد عائلاتهم وجميع محبّي التنسيق. ويضم التجمع حالياً نحو 50,000 عضو ولا يزال ينمو.

MPTA رابطة الإدارة وأولياء الأمور والمعلمين

The Management, Parents and Teachers Association (MPTA) plays an important role in bringing together three vital pillars of the CIC’s operations, coordinating their efforts and aligning their visions with the vision of the CIC. All the affiliated institutions have their own independent MPTA committees and two representatives from each of these committees will represent their respective institutions at the CIC MPTA.

تلعب رابطة الإدارة وأولياء الأمور والمعلمين (MPTA) دوراً مهماً في جمع الركائز الثلاث الحيوية لعمل التنسيق وتنسيق جهودها ومواءمة رؤاها مع رؤية التنسيق. ولكل مؤسسة منتسبة لجنة MPTA مستقلة، ويمثل مؤسستَين عضوان من كل لجنة في MPTA التنسيق.

Research Council brings together the teachers and scholars from Wafy institutions to discuss and debate vital issues in Islamic jurisprudence and other relevant topics. The council had discussed from time to time several important topics, drawing the attention of the Islamic scholars in Kerala.

يجمع مجلس البحوث المعلمين والباحثين من مؤسسات الوافي لمناقشة القضايا الحيوية في الفقه الإسلامي وموضوعات أخرى ذات صلة. وقد ناقش المجلس من وقت لآخر عدة موضوعات مهمة، مما لفت انتباه العلماء المسلمين في كيرالا.

WEB is a new initiative of CIC aiming to expand its networking by establishing Wafy international schools and Wafy hostels. The Malabar Wafy International School in Kottakkal, Malappuram, is the first venture in its kind.

CSS Coordinator منسق الخدمة الاجتماعية

The CIC’s Compulsory Social Service (CSS) coordinator is tasked to coordinate all the CSS activities in the affiliated colleges, issue certificate to those who have submitted their works, help students find opportunities for social service activities. The coordinator also coordinates among the CSS coordinators of the various affiliated colleges.

منسق الخدمة الاجتماعية الإجبارية (CSS) في التنسيق مكلف بتنسيق جميع أنشطة CSS في الكليات المنتسبة، وإصدار شهادات لمن أنجزوا أعمالهم، ومساعدة الطلاب في إيجاد فرص للخدمة الاجتماعية. كما ينسّق بين منسقي CSS في الكليات المنتسبة المختلفة.
